Jeremy Stevens - The Director

Meet Jeremy, our hard-working, chilled-out and talented Production Manager!  He leads the Production Team, sitting in his big glass office always looking busy - it's hard to hide in a fish bowl.  But don't let his serious demeanour fool you; Jeremy is legendary around the office for once (maybe twice) doing the worm at the work Xmas Party.  10 years later Russ occassionally reminds him that the original video still exists.

Jerry, as he's affectionately known at work, is a man of many talents.  He loves coffee & beer, and makes biltong like no other Australian.  His biltong was voted better than our resident Saffer, Andre (by 2 out of 3 respondents - pretty sure Jerry was one of them).  Jeremy dreams of becoming a Hollywood Director, and in his spare time makes up movie titles (most of them would make even a seasoned film critic blush); he takes his inspirations from day-to-day conversations around him.  Jerry is also a huge Brisbane Roar fan and religiously swelters in his orange scarf through the entire Brisbane summer.  Quite a talented sportsman himself, he longs to strap the boots on and run out when the Roar are a goal or two down, the fear of spilling his beer holding him back.

So if you need a talented production manager, a delicious homebrew, or a sports fanatic to chew your ear off, Jerry's the man.  Who knows, with his creative mind and party spirit, maybe one day he'll direct a movie about a biltong-making party animal doing the worm at a Christmas party. The possibilities are endless!

Vital Stats

AKA Jerry, Jerold, Jeremiah, Jeronimo, Mr Jezza, hairy jerry quite contrary.

Real Role:  Production Manager

Likes:  Coffee (because who doesn't need a caffeine fix to get through the day?).  Beer (because sometimes coffee just isn't enough).  Anything with cheese on it (even if it shouldn't have cheese).  Dad jokes and puns (the cheesier the better).  The worm.

Dislikes:  Waking up early (because sleep is sacred).  Cold coffee (because it's just wrong).  Meetings that could have been emails (what a waste of time).  The video of me doing the worm.

Claim to Fame:  Jerry once accidentally walked onto a movie set thinking it was a friend's backyard BBQ.  He was wearing a Hawaiian shirt and carrying a plate of biltong, and was mistaken for an extra by the director.  The scene ended up getting cut from the final film, but Jerry still likes to tell people that he was in a Hollywood production (even if it was in suburban Brisbane).  He has aspired to directing ever since.
